DRIVER Enquiries
The DRIVER project finished in December 2009 after helping the establishment and development of the European open access repository infrastructure.
Parts of the project are continuing: for example this DRIVER Support website will continue to be maintained and available, although not updated, for the next three years. The DRIVER Search Service will continue to be available and will be updated.
Enquiries for the DRIVER Search Service are handled by DRIVER partners received through the DRIVER Helpdesk. Although every effort will be made to ensure that your query is answered within a few working days, as this work is now being undertaken voluntarily by partners we cannot guarantee an immediate reply.
Information and contact details about the institution who took part in DRIVER as partners are available here: http://www.driver-repository.eu/Partners.html.
If you wish to contact somebody about the DRIVER project, the most appropriate contact of the management partners: University of Athens
DRIVER developed two major initiatives which still continue: part of the continuation of effort in this area has been taken up by the OpenAIRE project, funded by the European Commission. OpenAIRE will continue support for stakeholders in the growth and use of the European repository network, including national support offices. the other initiative is the Consortium of Open Access Repositories -- COAR -- to provide a unified voice for the repository community in Europe and lobby policy makers on behalf of the community.
